The GORE-TEX® Fabrics division of W. L. Gore & Associates develops high performance functional textiles that are integrated into protective systems for military clothing, footwear, and gloves. Working closely with partners across Europe and NATO, Gore enables reliable performance in demanding operational environments through technologies that combine waterproofness, breathability, wind protection, and long lasting durability. Where mission profiles require additional protection, flame retardant performance is integrated through innovations such as PYRAD® by GORE TEX LABS®, providing protection against incidental heat and flame without compromising mobility or comfort.
Designed for highly variable and challenging conditions—from cold, wet, and alpine mountain warfare scenarios to wet and temperate or hot environments—these material solutions help maintain protection and comfort under physical exertion and prolonged exposure. Armed forces share a common need for dependable systems covering garments, footwear, and gloves, all based on high performance functional fabrics. Whether it is GORE TEX waterproof apparel, GORE-TEX® PYRAD® flame retardant fabrics, next generation stretch rainwear, footwear equipped with EXTRAGUARD upper technology for GORE-TEX® Boots, or glove solutions that ensure dexterity and protection, all are engineered to deliver lightweight performance and operational reliability.
Supported by extensive laboratory, system level, and field testing, the GORE-TEX® Brand ensures consistent performance across layered systems, contributing to mission effectiveness and survivability. Trusted by military personnel worldwide, Gore technologies help protect those who protect us—when it matters most.
Modern warfare is no longer defined by firepower alone. Today, drones, thermal imaging systems, electronic surveillance and AI-enabled sensors detect targets faster and farther than ever before. Across current conflicts, a significant portion of battlefield losses can be linked to detection and targeting by unmanned systems and advanced sensor networks.
InfraHex was created to help change that reality. Developed in the Czech Republic in 2023, it builds on more than 14 years of nanofiber technology expertise.
InfraHex delivers advanced signature management technologies designed to reduce the visual, thermal and electromagnetic detectability of soldiers, equipment, weapons and tactical positions. Our mission is to give operators more time, greater freedom of movement, and a higher chance of remaining undetected in sensor-dominated environments.

As part of the NATO DIANA programme, InfraHex is helping shape the next generation of battlefield concealment - where survivability begins long before the first shot is fired.
Reduce Detection. Control Your Signature. Keep the Advantage.
